We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates the values of our independent pet and plants supplies shop. Qualities we are looking for as follows:

Experience – Atleast 1 years+ worth of experience in customer facing roles.

Reliable and Trustworthy.

Excellent customer service skills delivering above the basics.

Confident working to own initiative.

Self- Motivated, always looking for tasks to do and completing to a high standard.

Flexible with working hours to cover staff holidays, staff sickness and seasonal busy periods.

Have a basic knowledge of pet care and plants care. We do not sell live animals but still advise on the right products. And have indoor and outdoor plants.

On-site parking, Plan on never working a weekend – This is retail everyone in our small team will at some-point work weekends.
Live too far away and can’t reliably commute.

Working hours will be atleast 20 Hours per week or 13 Hours Per Week as per contracted. Contract is a temporary 3 months contract with the option to extend upon good performance.
