IT Systems Administrator

The Role: We are seeking a motivated Systems Administrator to join our Technical Services team, providing 3rd line ICT support and ensuring operational effectiveness. Salary: Competitive Location: Hull Hybrid (Past probation) Key Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role Degree in Computer Science or related field, or relevant work experience Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Hands-on, flexible, and proactive approach Problem-solving flair and methodical issue diagnosis Knowledge of Windows OS (Client and Server), including builds, upgrades, and maintenance Windows Server functions (Active Directory, Group Policy, WSUS) Microsoft 365 services (Entra, SharePoint, Exchange, Teams) Mobile device management across Apple and Android platforms Understanding of VMware and Hypervisor technologies Network services (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, Firewalls) Full driving license and access to own transport Security management solutions experience, including endpoint protection VoIP telephony systems experience Desirable Skills: ITIL Foundation Certified Red Hat Enterprise Linux / CentOS experience Intune / Workspace One Mobile Device Management
