Solicitor - RETRAIN OPPORTUNITY - Contested Probate

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Solicitor to join our Dispute Resolution team, specialising in Contested Probate and Court of Protection matters. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong commercial awareness of litigation cases who is looking to make a real impact in a growing and forward-thinking firm.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Manage a diverse caseload of contested probate and Court of Protection matters.
2. Advise beneficiaries, executors, trustees, claimants, and defendants in disputes relating to wills, probate, or trusts.
3. Deliver high-quality client care with a proactive and empathetic approach.
4. Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal standards, including SRA, Lexcel, and SARs.
5. Contribute to business development initiatives and foster strong client relationships.

Job Requirements:

1. At least 1 year of qualified experience handling litigated matters independently.
2. A solid understanding of Court of Protection cases and proceedings under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for client care.
4. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload effectively.
5. A willingness to commute to Stourbridge and work collaboratively within a dynamic team.
