Linux Security Engineer

We are looking for a Linux Security Engineer for a contract role. This is a long-term contract with a global IT consulting leader.

Responsibilities :

1. Develop, construct, and deploy Linux operating systems.
2. Provide guidance and mentorship to Linux Subject Matter Experts.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the setup of Linux servers aligns with organizational needs.
4. Integrate complex ICT infrastructure software and applications with Linux operating systems.
5. Analyze, log, track, and resolve complex issues related to Linux Standard Operating Environments (SOEs) and integrated business applications.
6. Implement measures to strengthen the security and resilience of Linux servers.
7. Create and maintain a library of dependable and reusable automated builds for streamlined system configuration and improved operational efficiency.
8. Collaborate with system architects to design and develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) using various technologies.
9. Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to determine their feasibility and potential benefits for the organization.
10. Create and perform peer reviews of Standard Operating Procedure documentation (SOPs), build guides, and related artifacts.

Minimum Requirements :

1. At least 8 years of relevant experience.
2. Mandatory: NV2 Security Clearance
