Konker is recruiting for an Architect to join a RIBA practice based 25 minutes from Leeds. This RIBA practice is looking for two new hires to support them with their growing workload and pipeline of work. They specialise within the residential sector, working on high-end projects, sensitive schemes, and large houses for private clients across the country. Projects range from £0.5 million to £10m. As an RIBA practice, they have been established for over 30 years, and they consist of Architects, Technologists and Architectural Assistants. They have a brilliant reputation within the Leeds & Yorkshire region for their extensive design and expertise. The practice will enable you to progress your career further and undertake an important role in the practice development.

The Position:

  • Use AutoCAD and Sketchup; Revit is also used in the practice
  • Work on high value residential projects across Leeds, Yorkshire & Scotland
  • Working on projects across all stages of the design process including feasibility studies, planning applications, construction details, producing 3D models and client presentations
  • Liaise with local authorities, including building and planning, and internal/external consultants
  • Project runs from inception to completion

The salary for this Architect position ranges from £35,000-£40,000, depending on previous experience, plus support and mentoring for your Part 3. Other benefits include hybrid working, 25 days holiday + bank/public holidays and healthcare.
