Our clients are specialists in their market sector, looking to recruit a Maintenance Electrician on a permanent basis to work a continental shift system.

The Job you'll do:

  • Ensuring that all planned maintenance work is completed on time, conforming to the standards.
  • Conducting electrical fault finding and diagnoses of motors and drives.
  • Undertaking root cause analysis.
  • Assisting in the implementation of TPM.
  • Always upholding safe working practices and contributing to improvement.
  • Interaction with SAP to access works orders.
  • Prioritise work in compliance with the priority process, at the team leader's discretion.
  • Accurate recording of times spent on tasks, and feedback into SAP / Shift report.
  • Carrying out maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on electrical systems.
  • Responding promptly to breakdowns.
  • Take part in FAT and SAT testing.
  • Understand 5S methodology and ensure 5S standards are met.
  • Liaise with production on machine status and repairs.
  • Refurbishment of hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Assisting with improvement projects.
  • Installation of equipment and infrastructure.

About You:

  • HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
  • Have followed a recognised Engineering apprenticeship.
  • 18th Edition BS7671.
  • CG2394 & CG 2395 Test and Inspection qualification desirable.
  • Health and Safety knowledge in an Engineering environment.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills.
