Telecare Customer Service Advisor Location: Stoke-on-Trent Supply Care Solutions are a market-leading Medical, Social Care and Education recruitment consultancy, we offer a range of accredited services across the public sector, providing highly skilled, compliant professionals in all grades and specialties, including short, long term and permanent positions. Rate: Umbrella £16.27 per hour Overview: Monday – Friday Type: Temporary until 01/02/2025 Job Purpose Working in the office on a 24/7 rota – each shift is 8.5hrs, postholders will be expected to work nights, weekends and bank holidays (including Christmas) as part of the rota. The Telecare Customer Service Advisor is the first point of contact for Telecare and Lifeline Service, providing help and support to people in potentially life threatening situations. The role involves taking calls from people in need, helping the person to stay calm and safe, identifying the issue, arranging any required support, and ensuring the person’s welfare. The Telecare Customer Service Advisor is also the first point of contact for the city council’s out-of-hours services. This involves taking calls about a wide variety of services (often these are emergency calls), identifying the issue and arranging necessary supports.
