The Role
As an Account Manager, you will manage and grow an existing territory covering Coventry and Milton Keynes. You'll be responsible for a portfolio of around 50 accounts, generating approximately £2 million in revenue and identifying and securing new business opportunities. Your role will involve:
- Managing and developing relationships with new and existing customers.
- Understanding customer needs and delivering tailored technical solutions.
- Collaborating with an internal sales team and technical specialists to provide high-quality service.
- Working independently to create and implement a sales strategy within your territory.
- Attending customer meetings 4 days a week, with home-based planning.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Strong sales or account management experience.
- A proactive, results-driven mindset with excellent organisational skills.
- Confidence in handling objections and presenting solutions.
- An interest in technology and automation, with the ability to learn new technical concepts.
- Experience in industrial automation, control, or a related field is an advantage, but training is provided.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
