In your role as Team Leader for the Finance delivery team, you will oversee the Accounts Payable function and manage the team's daily operations. Your leadership responsibilities involve nurturing your team members, ensuring they possess the necessary capabilities, understanding, and proficiencies to perform effectively. Your primary goal is to ensure timely payments to suppliers and employees for reimbursements while collaborating with the procurement team in Heathrow. You will drive to highlight any system challenges and escalate efficiently to the accountable team, whilst signing off monthly process and key controls.

Working location: Your contractual place of work will be the Heathrow Business Services Centre in Glasgow so you'll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to work. We also have some hybrid roles with a working approach which offers the opportunity for colleagues to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow. Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process.
