Churchill Howard are excited to partner with an industry-leading, Birmingham-based listed business. We are now seeking a talented Senior Financial Accountant to join their dynamic finance team and contribute to their ongoing success. This role is ideal for a first-time mover from practice with relevant post qualification experience, or a second-time mover with group reporting experience.
As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting processes. You will oversee key accounting functions, provide strategic insights, ensure compliance with regulatory standards and liaise with the auditors. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to make an impact in a fast-paced, large-scale organisation.
What We're Looking For:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with relevant post qualification experience.
- Either a first-time mover from practice or a second-time mover with group reporting experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of FRS/IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present financial information to stakeholders.
