The Role
- Service Charge Accounting - Overseeing service charge budgets, reconciliations, and reporting to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Rent & Lease Management - Managing tenant accounts, processing rent receipts, and ensuring compliance with lease agreements.
- Financial Reporting - Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including variance analysis and forecasting.
- Liaison with Stakeholders - Working closely with asset managers, surveyors, and external advisors to provide financial insights.
- Systems & Compliance - Maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting system improvements.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Experience in property management accounting, within a landed estate or commercial property portfolio.
- Strong technical knowledge of service charge accounting, rent invoicing, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in property management software, Propman.
- A detail-oriented and proactive approach, with excellent problem-solving skills.
- An accountancy qualification (or working towards one) such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA (preferred but not essential).
