A fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious and growing company based in Central London. As Commercial Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing a small team and will work closely with the Directors to provide detailed financial analysis in order for them to plan for organic growth. You will also work closely with project Managers to keep a close eye on contract budgets, re-cost where necessary to ensure the contract is delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities of the Commercial Financial Controller Role:
- Oversee and manage the full finance function
- Improve processes and procedures
- Summarise budget trends, analyse deficiencies and report variances
- Full monthly management accounts and presentation to the board
- Cashflow forecasting and detailed profit and loss analysis by contract
- Complete all month end and reconciliations
- Monthly VAT and PAYE
Requirements of the Commercial Financial Controller Role:
- Ideally ACC, ACA or CIMA qualified from an SME
- Hands on Managerial experience
- Highly organised and driven
- Proven track record of reviewing processes and implementing and driving change
- Hands on, happy to help with month end as well as the more detailed FP&A work
- Advanced Excel skills
- Exceptional communication skills to present to the Board
