Solar Consultant – £35,000–£45,000 + Company Car

On-site in Newent, Gloucestershire | Full-Time

Are you passionate about renewable energy and looking to make a real impact? GSM Ltd , an MCS-accredited renewable energy company with over 30 years’ experience, is looking for a Solar Consultant to join our expanding team.

You’ll take ownership of domestic and small commercial projects – from initial survey and system design through to quotation and client handover. If you thrive in a customer-focused, technical role and want to be part of a team that’s leading the way in sustainable solutions, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct site surveys for solar PV, battery storage, and heat pump systems
• Design bespoke renewable energy solutions
• Produce clear, professional proposals and quotes
• Manage planning and DNO applications
• Liaise with our installation and commissioning teams
• Provide expert advice and ongoing client support

✅ What You’ll Bring

• Experience in solar PV design & sales (battery/heat pump knowledge is a bonus)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Familiarity with PV design tools (e.g. PV*Sol, SolarEdge Designer)
• A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused mindset
• Full UK driving licence
• Relevant industry qualifications preferred
