Your mission is to join HELLO!, a leading lifestyle and celebrity legacy publisher, operating globally. HELLO!’s celebratory lifestyle, royal and celebrity content entertains audiences from 18 to 55+ years old. Hellomagazine.com attracts over 40M unique users every month globally, with significant growth since 2016. We are looking for an experienced Data and Audience Insight Manager to join the Commercial team to help develop our research, audience insight, and data capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with internal teams such as sales, product editorial, and marketing to capture 1st party data across all properties and devices.
- Supporting the business with segmentation creation and execution to grow audience revenues globally.
- Maximising yield and addressability performance of campaigns that utilise HELLO!’s audience products.
- Helping develop and launch new audience products to increase yield and revenue.
- Championing the DMP and the benefits it delivers across the company.
- Working with operations and campaign management to optimise campaign delivery by using the DMP to target audience segments.
- Working with external partners and suppliers to ensure HELLO! can execute its strategy and meet revenue targets.
- Supporting the sales team with research on our audience to aid with brief response and leads listing.
- Developing DMP use cases, user guides, and playbooks.
- Feeding into the overall group audience data strategy.
- Working between Marketing and Commercial teams to view our audience data holistically.
- Testing and integrating audience targeting solutions ensuring that the partners are set up for success.
- Working with marketing and sales to run internal audience surveys for best practice data capture and segmentation.
- Developing internal reports on the utilisation and effectiveness of the data product for feedback to key stakeholders.
- Working with partners such as Adomik and Google to report on market performance.
- Reporting on revenue by client category, Hello! site sections, and specific advertising units to inform in-market strategy.
Your profile:
- A deep understanding of what benefits a DMP brings a publisher and the possible advertising products that can be developed.
- Experience of working with Ad Technology vendors and platforms including Google Ad Manager.
- Robust analytical abilities and confidence in the use of data.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence and guide effectively amongst different levels of stakeholder seniority.
- Commercially astute with the ability to produce business cases.
- Experience with reporting tools such as QlikView, GAM, and Google Data Studio or similar products.
- Track record of structuring and analysing complex problems.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication breaking down complex concepts to a wide range of audience.
- Excellent attention to detail and focus on quality/accuracy of output.
- Ownership mindset and ability to work independently.
- Experience working within a commercial and fast-paced environment and dealing with ambiguity.
- Cross-functional team collaboration.
- Highly organised and effective - works at pace.
- Outcome-based, customer-centric, and data-guided approaches to problem solving.
