IT Support Team Leader needed for a permanent position in Derby. Start ideally April/May 2025.

A chance to join an established IT Management Services provider (MSP) looking for a hands-on IT Team Leader to manage a small team of IT Support Engineers.

Must be willing to participate in the 'on-call' team shift rota - typically one Saturday per month.

Working from the Derby office 4 days/week with the option to work 1 day/week remotely from home (WFH):

  • Leading, mentoring and coaching a small team of 1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineers.
  • Supporting a range of customer IT environments including: IT infrastructure, MS 365, Windows, Servers, Desktops, Storage, Networks, Data, Switches, Routers, Telephony, Applications, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, Printers, Linux, Cloud (AWS/Azure).
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving IT incidents and more complex IT tickets escalated from 1st/2nd Line Support Engineers.
  • Ensuring consistently high standards of customer satisfaction and delivering to agreed service levels (SLAs).
  • Supporting IT projects including installations, upgrades and migrations.

Must hold a full UK Driving Licence and have your own vehicle. Any experience of working for IT Managed Service Providers or IT Support businesses would be helpful. An IT Certification would be advantageous: MCP, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, ITSM, CompTIA.
