Based in High Wycombe, we are now looking for a Junior Artworker to help with the preparation of artwork for printing . The role can start immediately for the appropriate candidate. This role is ideal for a graduate and can be full time or part time.

The successful candidate should be proficient in at least 2 of the following packages.

The emphasis of this role will be on ultimate responsibility for the modification, checking and placing of artwork with print suppliers, managing the proofing process and ensuring that suppliers have correct and accurate information and to manage the client proofing process. This position will report into our Senior Artworker., * Check that artwork is compatible with the designated print process for that project

  • Ensure that all checks are made prior to sending proofs to customers and final files to print suppliers

  • Constantly check for any possible artwork oversights

  • Ensure that all artwork issued has correct bleeds, trapping etc and on correct keyline

  • Ensure that part numbers of all descriptive information relating to the project is correct

  • Ensure that all file settings are checked prior to sending file to print depending on the application used

  • Take into consideration any colour matching requirements and pre-empt any possible problems in multi component projects

  • Ensure that all projects have a proofing cycle where both supplier and customer approve proofs prior to printing

  • Where required to perform minor modifications to the artwork

  • Mid level administration and answering the telephone

  • Any ad hoc requests from Senior Artworker.

  • Must be located within 10 Miles of High Wycombe

  • The successful candidate should be proficient in at least 2 of the following packages and have a basic knowledge of the others (Adobe Photoshop – Adobe Illustrator – Adobe InDesign – Adobe Acrobat)

  • Good organisational / planning skills with great attention to detail
