The Role

As an Experienced Recruitment Consultant at MarkMay, you’ll be responsible for managing both temp and perm recruitment across the gas and renewables sectors. The ideal candidate will be used to working in a fast-paced environment, with a minimum of two years' worth of billings and a proven track record in recruitment.

You will work closely with both clients and candidates to provide a high level of service, ensuring the best talent is placed with trusted clients. The role will involve both business development and account management, while maintaining the quality of service we are known for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a recruitment desk with a focus on both temp and perm placements within the gas and renewables sectors.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and candidates.
  • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and placing candidates.
  • Business development to identify new opportunities and expand existing client relationships.
  • Working to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual billing targets.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and market demands.
  • Collaborating with the team to develop strategies for business growth and improvement.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in recruitment, with a proven billing history.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of both temporary and permanent recruitment.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a fast-paced workload.
