- Noise & Vibration Assessments: Supporting developments by conducting environmental noise monitoring, building acoustics assessments, and vibration impact analyses.
- Air Quality Assessments: Modelling emissions from transport and industrial sources, assessing air quality impacts, and advising on mitigation strategies.
- Environmental Permitting & Compliance: Helping clients navigate complex permitting processes and comply with UK and EU environmental regulations.
- Impact Assessments: Delivering comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and Health Impact Assessments (HIAs) to support planning applications.
- Sustainability Consulting: Offering guidance on renewable energy solutions, carbon footprint reduction, and sustainable design.
- Training & Workshops: Empowering clients with knowledge of environmental best practices through tailored workshops and seminars.
As a Noise & Air Quality Consultant, you will:
- Conduct noise and air quality assessments for a wide range of projects, including urban planning, transportation, and industrial developments.
- Air quality modelling using ADMS-Roads/ADMS5.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional project outcomes.
- Support business development by contributing to proposals and engaging with new clients.
What We're Looking For:
- A degree in Environmental Science, Acoustics, Atmospheric Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience in noise and/or air quality assessments (consultancy experience required).
- Proficiency in using noise modelling software (e.g., CadnaA, SoundPLAN) and/or air quality tools (e.g., ADMS, AERMOD).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and client management abilities.
- Knowledge of UK environmental legislation and standards.
