A market leading company based in London with hybrid working are looking for a Regional Finance Manager to take full P&L responsibility for a key region within the business. This role is responsible for providing financial management, analysis, support and control to the UK regional. The role holder will be responsible for managing and developing a finance team. This role will be involved in all financial aspects of the regional financial reporting, flash, budget, forecast and rolling three-year plan. Alongside financial reporting, it is expected the role holder will be involved in business cases, bids and tenders and investment preparation and appraisal. It is also expected that the role will provide management with valuable insights into financial drivers to support better decision making and help improve business performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Offer financial expertise to strengthen control and planning for business units.
- Oversee financial performance and compliance across business units.
- Manage the month-end closing process for multiple locations, ensuring timely reporting.
- Drive change by influencing and challenging existing processes.
- Compile and present weekly flash reports, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and a rolling three-year financial plan.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with regional managers, department heads, and operational leaders through regular meetings.
- Evaluate financial performance and key metrics for each location.
- Identify and assess potential risks and growth opportunities within the region.
- Work closely with station and divisional leadership to enhance financial awareness and improve overall performance.
- Prepare and present financial reports and ad hoc analyses for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead financial evaluations for pricing proposals and develop capex submissions.
- Conduct financial assessments and analyses as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Accountant - ACCA, CIMA or ACA
- Experience of responsibility for full P&L
- Excellent commercial and analytical skills
- Hands-on practical approach to providing guidance and direction in a challenging and dynamic business environment.
- Self-motivated, disciplined and with exceptional time management skills and ability to meet deadlines and prioritise multiple workloads.
- High Level of Integrity.
