Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Java Developer to join our team on a 6-month contract in London . This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work on impactful projects in the dynamic oil & gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain desktop, client-server, and rich client applications using AWT , Swing , and JavaFX .
2. Conduct comprehensive UI testing to ensure seamless user experience.
3. Collaborate closely with Front Office stakeholders to gather requirements and design effective solutions.
4. Apply advanced knowledge of Java 17 , IntelliJ/Eclipse , Maven , GIT , Jenkins , and RESTful Web Services .

Nice to Have:

1. Familiarity with Spring Boot , JPA , Kerberos , AWS , Ansible , Docker , and OpenShift .
2. Experience with BDD and Cucumber .
