Hobson Prior is seeking a Head of Quality to lead and manage quality activities and ensure that product release dates are met while maintaining high standards of product quality, customer service, and safety. This role requires a focus on continuous improvement and effective team leadership. Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and plan the activities of the Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams.
  • Hire, train, and manage team members to ensure a qualified workforce.
  • Collect and report quality metrics for the site and business.
  • Apply European and US guidelines to improve site processes.
  • Oversee key quality systems like Change Control and Validation.
  • Participate in and lead audits.
  • Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Communicate effectively within QA & QC teams.
  • Initiate improvements in quality processes.
  • Monitor team performance and provide necessary training.
  • Manage budget and spending within set limits.
  • Develop and track performance indicators.
  • Ensure compliance training is conducted.
