NSTR is working with a leading business and advisory firm, actively looking for Managers / Senior Managers to join their well-reputed hugely successful North West Team. This firm’s rapidly growing Private Client Team manage funds, businesses and trusts of individuals, families and entrepreneurs.
Alongside solving a constantly evolving range of technical challenges, working in this team means building strong relationships with individuals so you can become their trusted advisor and oversee their tax affairs in line with what they want to achieve as an individual or business.
The firm has an established national and global network meaning that you will get exposure to an array of clients and work.
You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and the firm’s partners to help businesses effectively. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.
You’ll be someone with:
- A good understanding of personal tax compliance and some experience in providing personal tax advisory and compliance services to a variety of different clients.
- Ability to prepare proposals for new work, including researching target client companies and technical issues to identify new solutions.
- Experience of managing and developing junior colleagues.
- Experience of engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Some experience of dealing with client senior management and key stakeholders.
- Educated to degree level with ideally CTA / ATT qualification or working towards a tax or accounting qualification.
