Job Description

Are you an experienced insurance professional looking for an opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of clients while advancing your career in a supportive and innovative environment? My client, a well-established independent insurance broker, is seeking a Client Adviser to join their growing team.

About the Role

As a Client Adviser, you will play a vital role in managing and nurturing client relationships, ensuring their insurance needs are met with professionalism and expertise. You will be part of a dynamic internal broking team, working under the guidance of the Associate Director in a hybrid working environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage your own portfolio of commercial clients.
  • Prepare comprehensive market presentations, reflecting renewal strategies.
  • Create detailed client renewal reports.
  • Address day-to-day client insurance and risk queries.
  • Handle mid-term changes to policies.
  • Attend insurer and client meetings as required.
  • Provide support to the Associate Director in all areas of insurance broking.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in account handling or client advisory within commercial insurance broking.
  • Experience in the Charity or Education sectors is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to professional development, including pursuing insurance qualifications if not already achieved.
