Are you energized by a highly visible finance role that allows you to build partnerships with the business, help influence senior stakeholders and shape strategic business plans? If so, the Gross to Net Finance Partner role is an excellent opportunity to explore. Here, you provide strategic guidance around both future-looking contract and pricing decisions and management of current obligations, managing the multi-billion-dollar Gross-to-Net P&L item. Support the US Gross to Net Team on all aspects of finance business partnering and provide financial assistance to the business units (BUs).
Responsibilities for all elements within Gross to Net Finance Partner role:
- Strategy & Performance Management: Assist with Market / BU Strategy, support development of overall strategy for BU contracting and drive new contracting strategies.
- Business performance and risk management: Brand Portfolio Analysis, Strategic Portfolio Analysis. Partner with Market Access and Account teams and BU Finance Partners on contract proposals and pricing strategies.
- Margin Enhancement: Support contract pricing decision making by analyzing/understanding commercial impact of decisions.
- Support Core Commercial Cycle: Ensure alignment of contract pricing decisions and market dynamics to forecasts.
- Organization engagement: Support US BU Finance Partners and other central BU finance partners and assist with management presentations. Navigate and manage in a cross function matrixed environment.

- 5+ years of financial partnering experience
- Experience with analysis, evaluation, forecasting, strategic planning and decision making
Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Excellent influencing and engagement skills. Ability to engage senior stakeholders and challenge based on expertise and personal credibility
- Experience working in a business advisory environment – analyzing complex data and clearly presenting insights and complex financial information in a simple and compelling way to non-finance audiences
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and compare complex data from multiple sources
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to determine and communicate the legal, financial and ethical interpretation of industry regulated principles
- Experience working in matrix organizations and complex change management projects.
- MBA, preferably in Management, Finance, Strategy, or Accounting.
- Understanding of the US Pharmaceutical Industry
- 6+ years financial partnering experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry, especially within the GSK/ViiV’s portfolio’s therapy areas
- Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA)
