What you’ll be doing
As an Underwriting Assistant, your main responsibility will be to provide a professional and comprehensive administrative service, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication between underwriters and service providers.
In this role, you\’ll be involved in a variety of tasks, from chasing brokers for premiums and renewals to maintaining and monitoring the flow of work. You\’ll liaise with clients and other divisions, process and check data entries, and assist with business development activities. You\’ll also participate in peer review meetings and work with different underwriting teams based on their needs.
Additionally, you\’ll be responsible for identifying and implementing opportunities to streamline underwriting activities, ensuring that our Standard Operating Procedures and User Guides are up to date.
