Support and Inclusion Officer
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for Support and Inclusion Officers to join a dedicated team working to prevent homelessness and support individuals in securing sustainable housing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with individuals to help them stay in their homes and prevent homelessness
- Support homeless households in finding long-term accommodation
- Develop personalised housing and support plans tailored to each client's needs
- Provide tenancy advice and assist with applications for housing and welfare benefits
- Liaise with landlords, private sector housing providers, and partner agencies to prevent eviction
- Deliver support in a range of community settings, including home visits
- Empower vulnerable individuals to live independently and maintain their tenancies
- Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in housing support, social care, or customer service
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage a caseload and work independently
- Compassionate and resilient when supporting vulnerable individuals
- IT proficiency and attention to detail in record-keeping
- Team player with a proactive approach
Requirements:
- GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Enhanced DBS check
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel as needed
- Flexibility to adapt to changing demands
