Salary: £60,350+ depending on skills and experience + car allowance
What you’ll be doing:
- Responsible for developing the scope of work for the plant and equipment for the SSNA Plant & Equipment Delivery
- Support the alignment of scope to the construction build programme and delivery and installation of equipment
- Responsible for scheduling the works plans and opportunity to travel and engage with European suppliers
- Manage and secure funding for the programme
- Support the overall delivery and installation of equipment
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Experienced in the detailing of specifications of plant and equipment to support ITT’s and securing of funding to support procurement of items
- Experience in complex plant and equipment including civils and infrastructure
- SQEP in Supply Chain contracting arrangements for Site Works Contracts / NEC 4 contracts
Desirable:
- Experienced in managing high risk programmes / projects within Operational Submarine Build Facilities
- Experienced in acting as an LCM project manager associated governance and CAM
- Extensive experience of Submarine fabrication, manufacturing and outfit processes and equipment

The Operations Facilities Engineering Team:
This is truly an exciting opportunity which will enable you to influence how the boat is built. You will be expected to travel overseas to supplier sites to engage and foster better relations. With the potential for supporting the Dreadnought Jigs, this role will provide further career development and opportunities with BAE Systems. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
