The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
Working as part of the Chamber Marketing & Events team you will be responsible for planning, promoting and delivering events across the West & North Yorkshire Region.
We need a high energy and adaptable individual able to manage their own workload, who is pro-active and customer focused. Your communication skills will be exceptional, both verbally and written. Organisation is key to the success of this role, as is the need to be a self-starter and a solutions driven individual. Previous events co-ordination experience is essential.
Working within the Marketing and Events team you will need a good understanding and experience in using social media platforms and digital marketing channels. As we cover the West & North Yorkshire region you will need to be a car owner and have the ability to work out of hours, early mornings and occasional late evenings.
The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines is essential, as is the need to manage and plan your own workload. Time management skills are vital as well as the ability to work on your own but also as part of a team.
Key responsibilities:
- Processing bookings using Eventbrite, both via telephone and email; the ability to use/learn new technology and processes is essential.
- Responsible for increasing attendance at events primarily by phone; therefore, an excellent telephone manner is essential.
- Produce management information about each event, e.g., numbers, prospective members.
- Obtain feedback from events.
- Work closely with the Membership Services team.
- Perform all other reasonable duties as and when required.
Please note if you are on a visa that does not allow you to work 40 hours per week, unfortunately, we will not be able to progress your application.
