We are supporting a well-established company based in Basildon with recruiting for a Business Development Manager on a permanent basis. The hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm. This position is predominately office based, however our client is happy to offer hybrid working once you are established. Salary is competitive DOE plus commission scheme.

Duties will include:

  • Identifying new business opportunities through lead generation and networking
  • Developing sales strategies to achieve targets for the business
  • Preparing sales presentations and attending client meetings to build relationships/business opportunities and understand their needs
  • Liaising with different departments within the business to manage and develop project plans
  • Completing client quotations and invoices when required
  • Dealing with client enquiries and feedback in a professional and timely manner

To be successful for this position you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong project management abilities. You will need to be confident in your ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
