This major UK and international law firm have an excellent opportunity for a further ambitious Associate to join their busy and thriving Corporate practice in Riyadh. The position will entail handling a variety of high-level work, including:

  1. Complex and big-ticket M&A deals
  2. Joint ventures
  3. IPOs
  4. Commercial contracts

for an impressive client list including major government, corporate and private equity clients across the Middle Eastern region (although with an emphasis on the Saudi and UAE markets). Their broad practice ranges across multiple sectors including:

  1. Energy (oil/gas and renewables)
  2. Infrastructure
  3. Transport
  4. Technology
  5. Hospitality
  6. Healthcare/pharma
  7. Manufacturing
  8. Consumer goods (which aligns closely with KSA Vision 2030)

Applicants will therefore need first-class legal ability , coupled with a practical commercial approach (with a track record in taking responsibility for and managing deals); excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills; and enjoy being part of a friendly and supportive team. You will also need a UK or Commonwealth legal qualification and consistently strong results throughout your academic history. Saudi or ME region experience and Arabic language skills, while beneficial, are not essential.
