If so, we invite you to join our team as a Solution Sales Manager in Digital Application & Innovation at Microsoft which is a people manager role. Digital Application & Innovation is a growth opportunity for Microsoft Azure, as well as its partners and customers. It includes a rich portfolio of products including Managed/PaaS services on the Azure Platform, GitHub, and Visual Studio. These technologies empower developers to build, deploy, and manage applications in a cloud-native way.
As a Solution Sales Manager in the Digital & Application Innovation team, you will be a senior solution sales leader, with technical acumen, leading a team selling the Microsoft Application Innovation portfolio to our largest enterprise customers. You will lead from the front, act as a recognized credible advisor and engage C-level technology and business leads, coaching teams on opportunity discovery and acceleration and removing roadblocks (specifically for App Innovation solution area). You will be seen as a Market Maker internally and externally for region as well as assigned vertical leading focused on guiding large-scale complex deal cycles at Fortune 100 accounts. You will be the ambassador of App Innovation solution in your area/region driving/generating awareness across leadership teams.

Responsibilities
- You will lead from the front, personally engaging at C-suite level to support and coach teams on opportunity discovery and acceleration and drive end-to-end business solutions, increasing customer and partner satisfaction and average deal sizes Year-over-Year (YoY).
- You will lead cross-team to ensure customer commitment to consume to modernize and expand cloud services and help sellers drive the Azure Digital and App Innovation business to exceed revenue, consumption, and scorecard targets.
- You will develop your seller’s Solution Sales and technical skills to sell the business outcomes of the broader Azure platform.
- You will drive a strong partnership with sales team and other teams engaging and will be responsible for maintaining the forecast to required operational standards.
- You will drive new business opportunities to achieve targets contributing positively to relevant subsidiary scorecard metrics.
- You will develop a high-performance diverse team by hiring, prioritizing development, leading by example and helping grow employee careers by sharing practical knowledge to drive sale, deployment and adoption of Microsoft solutions.
- You will coach field sellers using Consulting sales methodology and drive cross-team collaboration with ATU, CSU and other STU peers (Azure Infrastructure, Azure Data and AI, Business Dynamics Specialist) to grow overall business and land Microsoft solutions with Partner solutions.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications (RQs)
- Experience in technology-related sales or account management experience. OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND years of technology-related sales or account management experience.
Preferred Qualifications (PQs)
- Master's Degree in Business Administration (i.e., MBA), Information Technology, or related field AND years of technology-related sales or account management experience.
- Experience in solution or services sales.
- Experience in sales team management.
- Experience working in the Financial Services Industry.
