Job Responsibilities
- Cover key sectors within the Financial Institutions Group (FIG), including banking, asset/wealth management, insurance, specialty finance, fintech, etc.
- Perform in-depth valuation analysis, financial modelling, and market research to support M&A and capital markets transactions.
- Develop and deliver presentation materials, including management presentations, board reports, and memorandums, for client engagements.
- Play a key role in deal execution, including due diligence, document preparation, negotiation, and liaising with external advisors (legal, accounting, regulatory bodies).
- Stay informed on market trends and regulatory developments, offering strategic insights to clients.
- Mentor and train junior colleagues, contributing to a high-performance team culture.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years FIG investment banking experience from a Bulge Bracket, Elite Boutique, Mid-Market Investment Bank, or Big 4.
- Proven expertise in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and transaction execution.
- Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Deep understanding of investment banking products and deal structuring.
- Ability to manage client relationships and coordinate with external advisors.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.
