Hybrid Working - London - 3 days a week on site. Lorien's leading Investment client is looking for a Junior Investment Analyst to join our Policyholder Investment office team Asset Management function. This role will be via Umbrella.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of investment strategy, performance, portfolio construction and manager change as it relates to Policyholder Funds.
- Assist in stakeholder management to include representation at governance forums, committees and independent oversight bodies as required.
- Work with and support Head of Portfolio Management and wider team in delivering optimal policyholder outcomes across With Profits.
- Work with Asset Management colleagues on areas such as Investment Strategy/Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) implementation, performance analysis, and integration of Sustainability and ESG.
Key Requirements
- Broad understanding of all investment management, investment operations, regulatory environment, evolution, policyholder outcomes and product types.
- Knowledge of investment markets, investment strategy and fund management methodologies as they apply to With Profits.
- Understanding of asset classes across equities, fixed income, and alternatives (illiquid) and their application.
- Experience of interacting with stakeholders across multiple disciplines i.e. Actuarial, Finance, Operations and Risk.
- Some progress in a relevant professional qualification (or willingness to pursue) and/or applicable work experience.
- Experience of working within Middle Office environments.
