About Our Client This Head of Sales role, based in Liverpool, will cover the North West region including 4 sites and 10 direct reports. You’ll be responsible for managing and growing relationships with field sales managers to drive new business across Liverpool, Manchester, and surrounding areas. This role is perfect for an experienced sales leader who has a background in home visit based sales, for example a household goods or furniture background. We are looking for someone who is successful and skilled in building rapport to understand customer needs and improve sales. With a competitive base salary of £50,000 and a generous OTE structure, there is the potential to earn up to £70,000 per year. Job Description This excellent role will include staff management and will proactively review performance, conversion, and profits generated through 3 key business areas. Develop and maintain strong relationships to drive sales growth and maximise revenue opportunities. Focus on appointment targets, home visits, and follow-up sales from your teams. Manage and maintain a high performing team. Hire, train, and develop new BDM’s. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the North West region, expanding the company’s market presence. Work closely with the lead generators and product teams to align customer needs with product offerings and promotions. Monitor and analyse sales performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve sales strategy. Attend regular meetings and training at the Liverpool and Manchester offices, while spending a majority of time in the field with clients. The Successful Applicant For this role, we are looking for an experienced B2C face-to-face Sales Manager who wants to move into a Head of level role. You’ll have tangible results and a background leading a high performing sales team. Sales Experience : Proven track record in a sales management role, ideally within household goods, furniture, or a similar sector. Relationship Building : Skilled at establishing and nurturing client relationships, understanding customer needs, and delivering value. Self-Motivated : Comfortable working in a field-based role, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage your own schedule. Results Driven : A goal-oriented professional who thrives on exceeding targets and maximising earning potential.
