Team: The Sun product team owns several digital products across the brand, including; Sun Savers, Sun Web and Mobile Apps, and the Sun Classic digital newspaper.
Role: Working in the Sun product team, you will be working on building out a roadmap for video across App & Web. From discovery to implementation, you will be playing back to core stakeholders on the progress and future plans, in collaboration with the Senior PM. You will work closely with business stakeholders to implement features and improvements that are in line with the overall product strategy, using data at the heart of your decisions and where possible, taking a test and learn approach. You will be part of a product team that will support you in delivering the product roadmap and supporting the Head of Product in shaping the future of the products.
Day to day you will:
- End to end management and delivery of products in line with business and product strategy
- Help manage the product roadmap across your given area, providing options to stakeholder groups in order to gain approval
- Prioritise requests in order to achieve the greatest business value, with efficiency of time
- Build and own stakeholder relationships across all levels
- Closely work with the Business Analysts to ensure they have an understanding of requirements at an early stage
- Work with the wider technology teams as a key stakeholder in the delivery of the joined up technology roadmap
What we are looking for in you:
- Relevant experience in a video/product management role
- Good degree of technical/commercial acumen
- Awareness of tight timescales, to innovate and 'think outside the box' to deliver products and solutions that meet customers requirements
- A data-driven mindset, with the ability to use insights to inform decisions and adopt a test-and-learn approach.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills
