Online Filings is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Remote Data Analyst to join its innovative team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a cutting-edge platform dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs by simplifying and automating business administrative tasks.

About the Role:

  • Competitive £40,000 to £50,000 per year + benefits depending on location and years of experience (3 years employment minimum).
  • Additional compensation includes Performance Bonus, Pension Scheme, and Private Healthcare.

As a Data Analyst at Online Filings, you will provide data-driven insights and recommendations to management with the goal of improving our products, driving sales growth, spotting market opportunities, and assisting in our development strategy. You will apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, experimentation, and data mining to develop scaled insights solutions to drive business performance and accelerate product success.

Main Duties:

  • Evaluate, define, monitor, and advise on Business, Finance, Marketing, and Product KPIs and metrics along with different teams.
  • Conduct in-depth investigations leveraging large and complex data sets.
  • Perform data analysis and create insightful dashboards, memos, and presentations that summarise the data.
  • Create and maintain data documentation for both an internal, technical audience and for partner user teams.
  • Responsible for managing data requests from business stakeholders.
  • Conduct in-depth investigations/audits as required, leveraging large and complex data sets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Maths, Statistics, Economics, or other STEM/quantitative field.
  • 3+ years experience doing quantitative analysis.
  • 3+ years of SQL experience.
  • 3+ years experience working with Business Insights and data visualisation tools like Tableau.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python) and/or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R).
  • Expertise with spreadsheet-based tools like Excel.
  • Strong communicator: experience using data for storytelling and presenting complex research findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters or Ph.D. Degree in a quantitative field.
  • Experience using Mongo DB, Robo3T.
  • 4+ years of experience in a highly analytical environment (e.g. management consulting, corporate analytics, strategy and operations, or other roles requiring a blend of analytical, strategic, and cross-functional work).
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to synthesise information across a broad ecosystem to diagnose problems and devise solutions.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; able to thrive with minimal oversight and process, while keeping leadership informed on progress against deadlines.
  • Willing to work in a SaaS start-up environment.
