Site Fitter – Manufacturing Salary: £14.45ph + Overtime and Benefits Strong team with an excellent company culture Opportunity to grow and learn Excellent benefits. Our client an award winning, independent family-owned manufacturing company, are looking to recruit an experienced Site Fitter to join their installation team. The Site Fitter will play a crucial role in assembling, installing, and maintaining storage systems, including pallet racking, shelving and mezzanine floors. This position requires a good work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team. The Job * Assemble and fit components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery. * Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards. * Collaborate with engineers and other team members to resolve any issues that arise during the fitting process. * Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. * Document work performed and report any discrepancies or concerns to management. Essential Skills and Qualifications * Previous experience as a Fitter or in a similar role is desirable * Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings. * Familiarity with various fitting techniques and tools used in assembly work. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. * Qualification would help i.e CSCS, Forklift and IPAF but training can be given. * Driving licence is essential * This role is nationwide and some working away will be expected, all hotels etc paid for. Hours of Work are 9am – 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 2pm Friday In return the company offers a very competitive salary £14.45ph + Excellent Benefits along with secure and interesting employment.
