Our client is seeking a Maritime Integration Project Manager to lead the delivery of UK MOD maritime implementation projects across Royal Navy, Royal Fleet Auxiliary, and other UK MOD/UK Government vessels. This role is crucial for managing several maritime installation projects concurrently or sequentially, ensuring high standards of execution and customer satisfaction.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage the overall execution of maritime installation projects including the production of Equipment Guidance Packages (EGP), Installation Guidance Packages (IGP), and Modification Leaflets.
- Oversee the Change Impact Assessment Process (CIAP), collaborating closely with the Engineering and Assurance Teams and the customer(s).
- Report project progress, schedule, risks, and opportunities internally and in customer governance meetings.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of equipment and services according to the implementation plan.
- Support and improve the Project Management and through-life support functions within the organisation.
- Represent the company in key customer project and commercial meetings.
- Ensure projects progress smoothly through the company and meet agreed timescales.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven project management experience with UK MOD or other UK government departments, specifically in maritime electrical installation projects.
- Technical expertise in electrical/electronic, IT networking equipment, and satellite communication.
- Experience in producing high-quality EGPs, IGPs, and Modification Leaflets.
- Excellent communication skills and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently, make proactive decisions, and solve problems effectively.
- Must hold or have the ability to achieve DV Security Clearance.
- Proficiency in standard office applications and flexibility regarding travel and role requirements.
