We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Customer Service Tutor to deliver employability training to job seekers across the UK through virtual classrooms. You will excel in delivering dynamic and engaging sessions while being passionate about guiding learners toward successfully achieving their qualifications and securing long-term employment.
Duties:
- You will deliver engaging online training sessions to groups of learners working towards an accredited qualification, identifying their strengths and areas for improvement through initial assessments and providing tailored support.
- You will inspire and motivate learners to reach their full potential by using flexible teaching methods in an online environment, following TLA plans while adapting them to suit your style, and creating a positive, nurturing, and encouraging learning experience.
- You will support learners in developing their essential English, Maths, and ICT skills, with a strong focus on enhancing their communication abilities and building confidence in their telephone manner.
- You will regularly review, update, and enhance course materials, lesson plans and schemes of work.
- You will be skilled in working towards internal and external audits.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years relevant industrial/commercial experience, as well as prior experience in delivering appropriate training.
- PGCE/CertEd/QTS or L4 teaching qualification, as well as qualifications in relevant subject area and Maths & English GCSEs.
- Able to do occasional classroom delivery within local area (Birmingham, Leeds, London, Manchester, and Stockton-on-Tees).
- Due to the nature of this role, you will need to undertake an enhanced DBS check and there will be regular travel across the region so access to your own vehicle is essential.
