Financial Controller (Private SME - Property Investment)

This small family office in the Property sector in NW London, with a £100m portfolio of residential and commercial assets, is seeking a Financial Controller / Head of Finance for a hands-on role.

This Financial Controller / Head of Finance role will include:

1. Report to the Operations Director and liaise with the owners
2. Oversee one part time bookkeeper / ledger clerk
3. Preparing statutory accounts for various entities/SPVs
4. Corporation tax returns and family tax returns
5. Management accounts and quarterly management reporting
6. Monthly KPI reporting
7. Bank liaison and reporting
8. Service charge accounting
9. VAT, ATED and payroll responsibilities
10. Various reconciliations and rent collection
11. Work with Sage and Xero
12. Liaise with advisors on ad hoc projects and restructuring
13. Liaise with Property Manager regarding property and tenant issues

This Financial Controller / Head of Finance role will require a Qualified accountant, ideally from the Property sector, keen to work in a long-term stable role in a small but established company in NW London. Your background might also include ACA / ACCA practice training at a small or medium-sized firm of Accountants.
