Role Overview An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Project Manager to join the Northern Development Project Management team to work on exciting new build developments in the industrial and logistics, student and residential sectors which are at a variety of different stages. This is a great opportunity to support and help to grow the pipeline of new build projects. The individual should be expected to be actively involved in all stages of the project lifecycle, supporting the Project Director. The candidate will receive full support from the rest of the team and will be mentored by the Northern region Development PM lead, to accelerate their learning. Key Responsibilities Preparation of fee proposals and assisting with pitching to existing and new clients. Involvement in the upfront project briefing stages, learn to understand a technical brief and aid in the recommendation for the right professional team. Assist with the provision of outline technical recommendations and strategic advice at the outset of the project before a wider professional team are appointed. Support and advise clients in the strategic planning of projects, including providing advice on the overall approach, team, procurement routes, design management, project opportunities, key risks and mitigation.
