Interior Design Internship Location : Roehampton Employment Type: 3 Month Apprenticeship Company Overview: YKGroup ltd is a growing Architectural studio specialising in residential and commercial projects in and around London. Over the past 12 years, we have been involved in a turnkey solution ranging from small to large scale projects, luxury interior fit-outs and construction. YKG also has a sister company, Extension Architecture which is predominantly planning based for developments and extensions of all kinds. Position Overview: YKG intends to appoint an enthusiastic and well organised Interior Design Intern to assist with day to day interior design projects. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in design research, concept development, and mood boards. * Create 2D drawings and 3D renderings using software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit. * Support the interior design team to organise the material library and samples in the office. Maintain design libraries, sample inventory, and vendor contacts. * Help prepare client presentations and project documentation and meeting notes. * Collaborate with designers and project managers to ensure smooth project execution. * Visit project sites to assist in measurements, layouts, and installations. * Stay updated on the latest trends and materials in interior design. Requirements: * A degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). * Strong creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for design. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Prior internship experience or knowledge of the design industry is a plus. Compensation: While this is an unpaid internship, we provide a stipend to cover your daily commuting expenses. Additionally, all business-related travel expenses will be reimbursed.
