A rare opportunity for two additional Building Surveyors to work in our Billericay Office has been made available due to increased workload and company growth. These are perfect positions for surveyors who have the ability and passion to progress their career within a multi-faceted company with drive, ambition and quality staff. You will be working in various sectors, which will include residential and commercial. We can offer a competitive salary for the ideal candidates. OPPORTUNITY 1

Senior Building Surveyor

Responsibilities

  • Ideally, you will be an enthusiastic building surveyor, preferably chartered or near chartered (but not essential), with experience covering some or all of the following duties: project management/contract administration (essential), building surveys, party wall, dilapidations, licence to alter, and condition reports.
  • Experience in both residential and commercial, and a positive proactive approach, will ensure you will be able to hit the ground running.
  • The ambition and strategy are for the ideal candidate to ultimately manage, mentor and grow a team under their supervision.

Qualifications

  • BSc(Hons) Building Surveying
  • AssocRICS or MRICS preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

OPPORTUNITY 2

Graduate/Intermediate Surveyor (min. 3 years experience)

Responsibilities

  • This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious & driven individual who is looking to catalyse their career as a Building Surveyor and receive support while working toward their APC.
  • As our services are wide-reaching, the successful candidate will gain experience working on a plethora of complex and inspiring projects.
  • Duties will include: project management/contract administration, building surveys, party wall, dilapidations, licence to alter, and condition reports.
  • Experience in project management and a positive proactive approach will ensure you will be able to hit the ground running.

  • BSc(Hons) Building Surveying

OPPORTUNITY 3

Commercial Property Agent

An experienced Commercial Property Agent is required to be responsible for and expand lettings, sales and acquisitions of all forms of commercial property within an established and respected independent firm of Chartered Surveyors. Local knowledge and experience of the Essex market will be essential, as will a hunger to generate new business at the same time as providing a personal service to our existing client base, which includes Property Companies, Institutions, Charities and high net worth individuals.

The applicant must be able to work effectively as part of a team and will have support from the admin team and other qualified surveyors.

Qualifications

  • AssocRICS or MRICS desirable but experience is more important.

Remuneration package will be according to age and experience.
