The Opportunity:

Europe’s #1 Integrated Defence Company seeks a talented RF Engineer to support complex Radio Frequency design and engineering activities for next-gen Missile test programmes.

The Role:

Join a group of engineers pushing the boundaries of missile testing. The Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) team delivers the most advanced testing short of live firing, combining real missile hardware with cutting-edge simulations.

This is a dream role for an Engineer who thrives at the intersection of RF engineering, electronics, and software development. You’ll design, develop, and maintain RF equipment while working with a multi-disciplinary team to drive new capabilities in HWIL simulations.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Security Clearance: British citizen with or willing to obtain SC clearance.
• RF & Electronic Systems Expertise: Experience with RF Electronic Support and Attack Systems, platform integration, through-life support, and RF design/testing.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of RF/electronic systems, algorithm design, system performance analysis, and real-time system design.
• System Integration & Debugging: Experience in interface debugging, hardware/software design requirements, and system integration.
• Software & OS Knowledge: Familiarity with Linux, computer science principles (C++ preferred), and microcontroller integration into RF hardware (e.g., Raspberry Pi).

Benefits Package:

• Base salary: Up to £55,000 (DoE)
• Annual Bonus: Circa 2,500
• Overtime: Optional paid overtime – flat rate (1.25)
• Flexi Leave: Up to 15 additional days
• Holidays: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Pension: Pension 14% (6% Employee and 8% Employer)
• Share Incentive Plan: Opportunity to purchase shares via payroll before tax and NI.

• Sick Pay: It ranges from 6 weeks for the first six months of service and scales up to 48 weeks after five years of service.
