Schedule: Fulltime (Mon – Fri, 8 am to 4:30 pm)
Salary: Starting from £30,000 PA

As a Visual Merchandiser , you will work closely with both our marketing and product teams to assist in the creation and implementation of captivating displays and in-store layouts to showcase our products and enhance the overall shopping experience for customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Store Display Setup : Set up and install dynamic in-store and window displays to capture customer attention, promote key products, and support campaigns. Ensure that products are presented attractively and organised, following brand guidelines and maintaining consistency across all displays and stores.
- Project Planning & Scheduling: Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to manage the VMD calendar. Develop creative, trend-driven concepts and seasonal themes for store displays. Coordinate display timelines, ensuring alignment with major campaigns and product promotions across stores to create a cohesive customer experience.
- Brand Collaboration & Fixture Management: Work closely with brand representatives and account managers to create, order, and refresh brand-specific VMD materials, such as signage and promotional fixtures. Review CAD and technical drawings to ensure display designs adhere to brand specifications.
- Supplier Coordination: Liaise with external suppliers to source and arrange materials, fixtures, and custom installation elements required for in-store displays and promotional setups. Ensure timely delivery, quality control, and alignment with brand standards to maintain cohesive visual displays across all locations.
- Data-Driven Adjustments: Work with the purchasing team to utilise sales reports, and conduct your own customer feedback to assess the effectiveness of visual displays. Make data-informed adjustments to layouts and product displays to improve sales performance and enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Store Layout Optimisation: Partner with store managers to monitor store flow and optimise product placement for maximum visibility and accessibility. Adjust layouts and recommend product placements that improve customer engagement and drive sales.
- Inventory Management: Manage the VMD materials and props inventory, including sourcing and ordering supplies as needed.
- Media Collection & Digital Content Coordination: Collaborate with brands and internal content teams to collect or commission media for digital screens and in-store visuals (posters, signage, etc). Edit or adapt video clips as needed, ensuring digital and graphic content aligns with display themes and enhances in-store storytelling.
- Maintenance & Best Practices: Visit the stores on a regular basis to conduct audits of displays. Work with store staff to communicate visual merchandising standards and best practices, ensuring consistent implementation across all locations. Provide the retail team with instruction on display maintenance, product presentation, and general merchandising principles.
Important to note:
- Frequent Travel Expectations: Although the job is primarily based in Central London, candidates must have the flexibility for on-site work commitments. Travel may be required regularly, overnight, and on short notice in order to visit our retail stores located across the UK for installations or general VMD support.
- Team Collaboration & Flexibility: As part of a small and dynamic team, there will be occasional opportunities to assist with activities outside of core responsibilities, such as helping with store openings, supporting team events, or assisting with ad-hoc projects. While these tasks are optional, we really value a collaborative spirit and the willingness to step in and support each other when needed.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong passion and existing knowledge of the Korean beauty industry.
- Proven experience creating and managing planograms and store layouts (MUST)
- Proficiency in VM software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, or specialized planogram tools like Blue Yonder).
- Qualification in Retail Merchandising, Design technology, Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, or a related field (preferred but not a must).
- Strong creativity and visual aesthetic with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CAD software for editing and interpreting technical drawings.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Willingness to travel between London and other UK cities on a regular basis with short notice. Sometimes staying overnight.
