We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working individual to join our team.
Main duties will include:
- Preparation of financial accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Dealing with all aspects of tax and VAT and adhering to strict deadlines
- Preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships and limited companies
- Finalising accounts and tax returns
- Liaising and meeting with clients to discuss results and tax issues
- Reviewing and finalising work produced by more junior members of the team
The candidate must have:
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good communication skills
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage
- At least 3 years experience at a senior level in an accountancy practice
- Extensive practical knowledge of all main taxes
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
Qualifications: Must be educated to at least A Level standard and have at least 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (Maths and English must be at least grade B or above).
