Join Whitbread as a Procurement Manager and manage an exciting £15m portfolio, focusing on food and beverage suppliers across the UK & Ireland. You’ll be responsible for selecting and managing key suppliers, driving best practice procurement, and developing category strategies. If you have a passion for food procurement, possess great negotiation, supplier and project management skills and have a proven track record working in a fast-paced procurement team, then this role is for you. We are looking for an experienced food procurement manager to join our F&B Procurement team as we transform our supply base and transition to new supply chain models in the UK & Ireland.

Strong relationship and contract management skills along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a cross-functional team to challenging shared deadlines are critical to be successful in this role.

  • Salary: £58,000 - £63,000
  • Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (until 31/10/2025)
  • Location: Office based (Dunstable) minimum of 3 days a week in our Dunstable office.

Minimum Skills/Experience Required:

  • Negotiation Tools & Techniques for F&B Sourcing: Proven experience in using advanced negotiation strategies and techniques to secure favourable agreements with food and beverage suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and long-term supplier partnerships.
  • Commodity & Market Analysis: Strong background in conducting comprehensive analysis of commodity markets and trends, leveraging insights to inform sourcing decisions, manage risks, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Product & Supplier Management: Experience in managing relationships with key product suppliers, ensuring high product quality, supplier performance, and alignment with business objectives. Ability to drive supplier performance and continuous improvement within the supply chain.
