Our client is a $5bn American owned, global business who are market leader in their sector. Their products and services are widely recognised in the UK and all of their international markets.
Based at their established site in Leeds, the UK finance team are looking to increase their headcount by employing a Cost Accountant / Management Accountant. They will consider ACCA or CIMA qualified candidates or candidates who are QBE / Qualified By Experience.
In this essential role, you will work very closely with both other members of the finance team and also the manufacturing side of the business to ensure that manufacturing costs are both understood and controlled. The business is complex, with multiple sources of sales and manufacturing data and it is essential that you have proven experience working in a manufacturing environment where products are both manufactured on a bespoke basis for each client and sold via multiple different channels and sales models. This is by no means an "off the shelf" product.
You will be partnering with multiple different business units throughout the UK and therefore the role will be varied, interesting and challenging for the right person. You will need to be comfortable dealing with senior leadership and have the ability to build great relationships internally and externally.
Cultural fit is extremely important to our client. You need to be able to demonstrate how you work as part of a team, helping and assisting colleagues as required rather than being someone who works in a more silo type of environment.
Note: Hybrid working is in place three out of four weeks (two days home / three days office) with a full week in the office for month end purposes.
