This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and motivated tour coordinator to join a busy live booking agency. The key focus of the role will be to work alongside one of our agents to support their roster and provide ad-hoc support for the wider team in the company. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about music and motivated to work in the industry, who is able to work to a high degree of professionalism. Previous assistant experience within the music industry is preferred but not necessary.
Main job tasks and responsibilities:
- Liaising with agents, management and labels on touring periods, financial and logistic requirements
- Negotiate routing and arranging dates with promoters and venues
- Inputting show details into the central booking system
- Producing deal memos and contracts for shows booked and chasing signed contracts from promoters
- Generating invoices for shows, keeping account of all money in for shows including chasing deposits/payments when needed
- Liaising between promoters and artist management to ensure they are taxed appropriately
- Coordinating Certificates of Sponsorships and Visas for international artists
- Compiling and arranging tour announcements, ticket links and promotional artwork
- Coordinating tour support submissions and promoter interest
- Collecting ticket figures from promoters and updating management
- Keep client information up to date including release dates, management, label and account info
- Proactively resolving enquiries and escalating where necessary
- Attending shows and events when required outside of normal office hours
