Partnership Recruiting are looking for a Production Team Leader to join their clients management team at their state of the art facility in Irvine. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the production process, overseeing the efficient manufacturing of products, and maintaining high safety and quality standards. You will work closely with the Production Supervisor and Manager to meet production targets and implement continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to achieve production and output targets/KPIs on a daily basis and lead smaller process improvement teams as assigned.
  • Drive daily improvement in line with management objectives around quality & safety standards.
  • Maintain high levels of housekeeping through rigorous conformance with 5S principles.
  • Ensure all work areas & equipment are regularly maintained to deliver optimum performance.
  • Liaise with Safety, Logistics, Technical, and Maintenance teams to achieve optimum results.

Experience/Qualifications Required:

  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma qualification and/or experience is preferred.
  • Experience with continuous process production lines would be beneficial.
  • A strong understanding of 5S and the role it plays in driving both safety and workplace efficiencies.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
